Complex Systems
Daniel Diemeier is a founding co-director of the Northwestern Institute on Complex Systems (NICO), a university-wide institute. It comprises a distinguished and diverse group of faculty from all areas of the university, including engineering, swarm robotics, business, natural sciences, education, medicine, law, and the social sciences.
NICO builds predictive models to help policy analysts, scientists, corporations, and inventors learn how to manage, change, and create knowledge and value from networks. Businesses use complexity frameworks and tools to uncover what really matters in influencing their organizations.
